Two years ago to the day Christian Ponder picked up his first win as the starting quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings, a 24-21 victory over Carolina.
The start was the second of his career, losing the week before to Green Bay 33-27, and the second in a string of 29 consecutive regular season starts that came to an end just four weeks ago.
In 2012, Ponder would help Minnesota to a 10-6 record and their first playoff appearance since the 2009 season, but outside of that year, he has compiled a 2-12 record as a starter.
His most recent start, the 30th of his career, yielded the same result as the first, a home loss to Green Bay.
