A tweet sent out by the official account for the Minnesota Wild indicates the front office has begun their off-season roster shake up.

Sadly for the fans of instant gratification, we won’t get to see a name to attach to the Graovac trade when the NHL Draft kicks off Friday, June 23rd. The fifth-round pick they got back from Washington will have to wait a year to be redeemed. It is for the 2018 draft.
Tyler Graovac was up and down from the minors and NHL most of his career. Last season was his career best from a contribution standpoint: he scored seven goals and tallied up 10 points in 52 games.
According to Michael Russo of the StarTribune, the Wild get out of Graovac’s one-way, $650,000 contract next season while the Capitals now have an additional forward in their arsenal so it can protect Lars Eller and expose Graovac to the Vegas Golden Knights on expansion-draft night.
