After getting shut out by Ottawa on Tuesday, the Wild’s offense returned to form Thursday, powering Minnesota to a 4-1 win.
Jason Pominville got the Wild started with his team-leading 19th goal of the year, and after Jordan Eberle evened the score for Edmonton, Nate Prosser picked up his first goal of the season in the second period to put the Wild ahead once again.
Justin Fontaine and Jason Zucker also lit the lamp for Minnesota to put the Oilers on ice.
Despite ranking 27th in the NHL in goals per game, the Wild have now scored four-plus goals in seven of their last 11 games.
Darcy Kuemper, getting his third consecutive start in net for the Wild, stopped 20 Edmonton shots for his third win of the year.
The Wild headline Hockey Day in Minnesota Saturday, taking on the Stars at 8 p.m. from Xcel Energy Center.
