Zach Parise will be back on the ice with the Minnesota Wild against the Calgary Flames Tuesday night in St. Paul.
The star forward has been out with a foot injury since Oct. 27, missing six games in which the Wild went 3-3. Minnesota started the season 6-2-1 before Parise got hurt.
But don’t expect Parise to get back on the top line with Eric Staal and Charlie Coyle. Wild insider Michael Russo expects Parise to join Jason Pominville and Erik Haula.
The Wild aren’t saying for sure that Parise is back, but head coach Bruce Boudreau’s comments following Tuesday’s practice were indicitive of his return.
“He’s a good player,” Boudreau said, via Yahoo Sports. “I don’t know if he’s going to be 100 percent but if he’s ready to play we’re ready to have him,”
