More bad news for Minnesota Wild employees.
The Star Tribune reports the 200-person staffwill go down to four-day, 32-hour work weeks until the NHL lockout is settled.
Both sides in that dispute have agreed to meet with federal mediators, starting tomorrow.
Meanwhile, St. Paul Mayor Chirs Coleman tells MinnPost he’s ticked off at the league and the players for not getting a deal done.
In a statement, Coleman says “The time to end the lockout is now.”
Will mediation work? Sports Illustrated hockey columnist Stu Hackel says the whole thing is a “painful farce,” and now it’s apparently time to send in the clowns.
