Where do the Vikings stand after getting rocked by the Seahawks, 41-20 last weekend? We’re glad you asked. Unfortunately, they took a dive back toward the bottom of the NFL.
The good news is that they are in line to hold the No. 2 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Anyone interested in the Vikings taking college quarterback sensations Johnny Manziel, Teddy Bridgewater or Marcus Mariota?

FOX Sports: No. 29 — “At this point, it doesn’t really matter who plays QB for the Vikings, but you paid Josh Freeman for a reason.”
CBS Sports: No. 29 — “Things are getting worse by the week. Who starts at quarterback this week?”
ESPN: No. 31 — “Adrian Peterson had 21 rushes for 65 yards on Sunday, including 27 yards after contact. Peterson’s 1.28 yards after contact per rush average was his third lowest this season.”
Bleacher Report: No. 31 — “Another week, another Minnesota Vikings loss. It’s tough to believe that this team made the playoffs just last season. Those days are long gone, though, and the Vikings are seriously struggling.
“As the losses pile up, the rest of the 2013 season is about saving jobs. Head coach Leslie Frazier must convince ownership that he’s the right guy to rebuild this roster and develop the young talent. Last season’s playoff berth may be enough to earn him another year, but that’s doubtful. Frazier, as well as general manager Rick Spielman, will be held accountable for the crashing of this team.”
