A tumultuous offseason between the Vikings and running back Adrian Peterson ended months ago, but the name Ben Dogra undoubtedly still draws the ire of some Minnesota fans.
Dogra is Peterson’s agent, but on Wednesday the NFL Players Association Committee of Agent Regulation and Discipline “unanimously voted” to revoke his license for three years.
According to a statement from the players union, Dogra’s certification was revoked for “violations of the NFLPA regulations governing contract advisors.”

According to 1500 ESPN, Dogra has been embroiled in controversy recently. He was fired by talent agency CAA – reportedly for cause – in November of 2014. He also was criticized for how he handled Peterson’s contract issues during the last offseason.
While Peterson was noncommittal about his intentions to return to the Vikings last spring, Dogra told reporters his client wanted out of Minnesota.
Cooler heads eventually prevailed, Peterson returned to the Vikings during their offseason program, the team restructured the veteran running back’s contract and Peterson led the Vikings back to the playoffs, winning his third NFL rushing title along the way.
In addition to Peterson, Dogra also represents Vikings cornerback Terrence Newman.
For his part, Dogra has denied any wrongdoing.

Dogra will be eligible to re-apply after the three-year revocation and a $200,000 fine. He is able to appeal and can continue to represent players as the co-CEO of Relativity Sports’ football division, while his appeal is pending.
