NFL experts seem to think the Minnesota Vikings will be one of the surprise teams contending for a playoff spot in 2015, but it’s not because the team has a lot of top-end talent – at least according to the NFL Network’s latest rankings of the top 100 greatest players.
The only Viking named to the top 100 was Adrian Peterson at No. 62, and while AP only played in one game last year, he still had enough votes to get into the Top 100.
While Peterson was the only Viking to make the list, the NFC North appears to be pretty well represented.

The top 100 list is voted on by the players.
Next year’s list could be of great interest to Minnesota fans, with the Star Tribune noting plenty of promise for the upcoming season and some of the young talent on the Vikings – including Harrison Smith, Xavier Rhodes, Everson Griffen, linebacker Anthony Barr and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.
