One day after signing, veteran forward Josh Howard is expected to be in uniform for Friday night’s game against the Golden State Warriors.
The 32-year-old signed a one-year contract Thursday with the injury-plagued Timberwolves. Minnesota is missing six key players, including four starters.
Nikola Pekovic, Brandon Roy and reserve J.J. Barea all are out again tonight.
However, Kevin Love said this week that he’s on track for an early December return.
Howard put in extra time at practice Friday morning to learn new plays, although he’s unsure how much playing time he’ll get.
