The Timberwolves were supposed to wait until tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder to unveil their new logo, but the Star Tribune apparently took care of that for them with a leaked image in an advertisement.
Here’s what a user on Reddit says they saw earlier today.
Here’s another look at it.
for those upset, this is where I found the link to double-check the Strib leak: https://t.co/os34C3rbGR. I didn't stumble upon it myself.

If this is the new logo, it looks like a blend of the 2008-09 alternate logo and the primary logo from the original 1989-90 season.
Other notes:
- The pine trees are gone.
- A green star, probably the North Star, has been added.
- The Wolf has green eyes and a green nose.
- The font is different.
