Towns led all rookies with 130 first-team votes. The voting process consisted of 130 sportswriters and broadcasters. Two points were given for first-team votes and one point for second team.
He is the eighth Wolf to earn All-Rookie First Team honors, joining: Pooh Richardson, Christian Laettner, Isaiah Rider, Stephon Marbury, Wally Szczerbiak, Randy Foye, Ricky Rubio and Andrew Wiggins.
