When you get your day with the Stanley Cup, you have to make the most of it and Brainerd native Josh Archibald did exactly that.
Archibald, who helped the Pittsburgh Penguins capture another Stanley Cup in June, ended up baptizing his newborn son in Lord Stanley’s trophy this week.

The 24-year-old was a standout out hockey player at Brainerd High School. He also played collegiately at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
He played in just 10 regular season games for the Penguins, but he did suit up in four games in this year’s Stanley Cup Final.
Cullen gets his turn
Minnesota native Matt Cullen had his day with the Cup in his hometown of Moorhead earlier this week too.
The former St. Cloud State standout stopped at a local hospital in West Fargo in which he filled the Cup with mini donuts.

Cullen was a free agent this summer and the 41-year-old decided to sign with the Wild in July.
It will be his second stint in Minnesota, as he played in State of Hockey from 2010-13.
