The quarterback has missed the last two games due to a knee injury he suffered Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints. Bradford flew down to Florida last week to see well-known orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, to get a second opinion on the injury.
Luckily, Andrews found no structural damage, but the injury is still keeping Bradford from returning to practice.
Case Keenum show
After being thrown into the fire in Week 2, backup quarterback Case Keenum bounced back for a career game last Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Keenum completed 25 of 33 passes for three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Minnesota has their first divisional tilt this weekend against the Detroit Lions at home. Through three games this season the Lions defense is giving up 249 passing yards per game.
