After getting mostly shut down by Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes, Tampa Bay wide receiver Mike Evans is claiming he could’ve had a much bigger game than he did on Sunday.
The NFL tweeted out a graphic saying “Rhodes Closed,” to which Evans responded:
Rhodes were open for me. Film don't lie https://t.co/2trIeOQrPN

Evans had 7 receptions for 67 yards against the Vikings, but only 5 catches for 53 yards when he was covered by Rhodes.
Pro Football Focus’ film review suggests Rhodes held Tampa Bay’s receivers to just 4 catches for 36 yards.

Evans, to a certain extent, is correct that film doesn’t lie. Just look at this.
