Los Angeles Clippers 110
Minnesota Timberwolves 106
The Minnesota Timberwolves dropped a tight one to the Los Angeles Clippers 110-106 at Target Center Monday night. It’s the 14th straight time the Clippers have beaten the Wolves.
1. DeAndre Jordan destroys the Wolves inside
DeAndre Jordan was a dunk machine for the Clippers on Monday night. He was a force inside with 20 points and 12 rebounds as he controlled the paint.
Six of Jordan’s rebounds were offensive and led directly to second chance points.
2. Towns goes downtown
Wolves rookie Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting. But most impressive was how he shot the ball from the outside.
Towns was 3-of-3 from behind the arc on the night.
3. Buzzer-beaters
Zach LaVine beats the clock at the end of the first quarter. He finished the night with 21 points.
