The Minnesota Timberwolves picked up an overtime victory by defeating the Utah Jazz 106-104, Monday night in Salt Lake City. The win was the second game of a back-to-back for the injury depleted Wolves.
Zach LaVine had a big night for Minnesota, he led the way with a game-high 27 points, and was 5-of-6 from behind the three-point line in the Wolves victory.
Andrew Wiggins added 22, he was 10-of-19 from the floor and grabbed seven boards.
The duo helped to fill the void of Kevin Martin. The Star Tribune notes that Martin was placed on the injured list Monday because of his ailing hamstring.
Nearly every Wolves player that played scored double figures, including newly acquired Sean Kilpatrick who finished with 13 points in the Wolves victory. It was Kilpatrick’s first career free throws that helped to clinch the win.
Kilpatrick shoots his first two NBA FT's with 10.7 to go in OT. He calmly drains them. #Twolves lead 105-102.

The Wolves (16-54) return to Target Center to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.
