Mikkel Boedker scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime. Boedker came into the game with just one goal against Western Conference teams all season.
He doubled the total Friday night.
3. Late penalties haunt the Wild
Two late penalties in the third period and one 16 seconds into overtime came back to haunt the Wild. Nino Niederreiter was sent to the box for two minutes with a slash, moments later Chris Porter went to the box for a slash.
While neither resulted in an Arizona goal, they did take the momentum away from the Wild.
Then just 16 seconds into overtime Zach Parise was sent to the box for high sticking, which moments later turned into the game winner.
