Charlotte Hornets 104
Minnesota Timberwolves 95
The Minnesota Timberwolves couldn’t make it three in a row, losing to the Charlotte Hornets 104-95 at Target Center Tuesday night.
1. Wolves winless at home
While Minnesota is a perfect 4-0 on the road, they have struggled at home and are still searching for their first Target Center victory after Tuesday night’s loss.
2. No Wiggins, Rubio or KG
For the first time in his NBA career, Andrew Wiggins missed a game. He was out with a sore knee. The Wolves were also without Ricky Rubio and Kevin Garnett as the team was playing their second game in as many nights.
Andrew Wiggins will not play tonight. Starters: Rubio, Martin, Prince, Payne and Towns. #Twolves

Zach LaVine had 20 points and eight assists in the loss for the Wolves. Karl-Anthony Towns added his fifth double-double of the season with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
3. Hornets bench provides plenty of sting
Charlotte’s bench outscored the Wolves 57-23. They were led by Jeremy Lin with 19 points, while Jeremy Lamb added 18 of his own.
Cody Zeller contributed 14 points and six boards for the Hornets as well.

So this isn’t exactly Wolves related anymore, but as Kevin Love found out Tuesday, be careful what you Tweet out.
