The defending Stanley Cup Champion L.A. Kings clobbered the Minnesota Wild 4-0 on Wednesday night.
The Kings took control of the game early with four goals in the first period.
Mike Richards gave the Kings the early lead with his fourth goal of the season. Dwight King and Jamie McBain each assisted.
Dustin Brown pushed the lead to 2-0, at the 13:13 mark. Then Tyler Toffoli and Justin Williams also slipped pucks passed Wild goaltender Darcy Kuemper.

Kuemper was pulled after the first period, he stopped just six of the 10 shots he faced. Niklas Backstrom replaced Kuemper in the final two periods and stopped all 12 shots.
#mnwild coach Mike Yeo: "The list of regrets I have his long." Said he should've pulled Kuemper after the second goal.
