Minnesota Wild 4
Columbus Blue Jackets 2
The Minnesota Wild beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-2 Tuesday night, but it came with a big cost.
1. Hats off for Parise
Wild forward Zach Parise scored three of Minnesota’s four goals for his second hat trick of the season. Parise’s third and final goal of the night was scored into the Blue Jackets’ empty net with less than a minute to play.

It was the fourth hat trick of Parise’s career and the 20th in team history.
2. Granlund’s three point night
Mikael Granlund put together a big night for the Wild. He finished with a goal and a pair of assists.
Granlund set up Parise’s first two goals. He then netted the goal that put the game away off a faceoff with just over 13 seconds to play.

3. Wild lose Koivu in the first period
The big cost for the Wild was the team’s captain. Mikko Koivu was hospitalized after he was hit and slid backwards into the boards.
