Blackhawks 4
Wild 5
The Minnesota Wild won another one-goal game Friday night, beating the Chicago Blackhawks 5-4 at the Xcel Energy Center.
While it was an important victory against the rival Blackhawks, it did come with a pretty big price. Minnesota lost Justin Fontaine early in the second period, on a hit from Chicago’s Andrew Desjardins.
Source says the league "definitely" will be taking a good look at that Andrew Desjardins knee-on-knee hit on Justin Fontaine. #Blackhawks
