If one preseason series is any indication, the Kirk Cousins era in Minnesota is going to be a good one.
Cousins directed a flawless touchdown drive in which he connected with Stefon Diggs on a perfect pass for 28 yards down the right sideline, setting up first-and-goal from the three-yard-line.

A couple of one-yard runs by Latavius Murray set up third-and-goal, and Cousins hit Diggs on a quick slant for a one-yard touchdown pass.

Cousins finished the drive 4-of-4 for 42 yards and a touchdown and was taken out of the game.
Murray also looked solid, rushing for 43 yards on four carries, including runs of 20 and 21 yards. Murray is starting in place of Dalvin Cook, who was being held out of the game as a precaution.
