Former Timberwolves superstar Kevin Garnett posted a video to his Instagram on Saturday showing a dangerously close view of what appears to be a raging wildfire in California.

We can only assume that Garnett is on the other end of the camera, but the video shows two planes flying very low overhead, with the second plane releasing fire retardant on the roaring flames in the distance.
Garnett’s caption on the video says: “WHEN ITS YOU,” leading to the possibility that the neighborhood, city or even possibly his home is being threatened by one of the destructive California wildfires.
It’s unclear where exactly Garnett lives, but he recently sold a $20 million estate he is building in Malibu, the posh southern California city that’s home to many celebrities – and a city that was ordered to evacuate on Friday because of the Woolsey Fire.
According to NBC Los Angeles, the Woolsey Fire has also forced evacuations for many in the nearby cities of Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Agoura, Thousand Oaks and Topanga Canyon.
“Driven by 50- to 60-mph winds, the flames jumped south across the 101 Freeway in the Liberty Canyon area early Friday, sending it on a course through Malibu and its exclusive celebrity enclaves — Caitlyn Jenner’s home was reportedly among those destroyed.”
As of Saturday morning, the Woolsey Fire had destroyed 70,000 acres and was zero percent contained.
Whatever the case is for Garnett, let’s hope he – and everyone else – gets out of the situation with as little damage as possible.
