Not only is Justin Jefferson returning to the field this week, he’s also back on social media three weeks after deleting his accounts on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
How much of a personal touch Jefferson adds in his return online is yet to be seen, but he did reactivate his accounts to post sponsored content. On X, he posted the Little Caesars commercial that he stars in. On Instagram, who posted the pizza commercial and a Bath & Body Works paid advertisment.
The @JJettas2 X account went dark Nov. 24, stating: “This account does not exist,” while the same happened to his Instagram account on which he has two million followers.
Just days before he disappeared, Jefferson posted on X suggesting he was receiving direct messages regarding his recovery from a hamstring injury that has kept him out since Week 5.
“My health is wayyyy more important than you winning your fantasy games. It doesn’t matter how many times y’all flood my dms talking about me selling your team. I DONT CARE,” Jefferson wrote.
This isn’t the first time Jefferson has jumped off the social media bandwagon only to return. A year ago he deactivate his X account after writing a post to defend quarterback Kirk Cousins.
