J.R. Smith wants nothing to do with Minnesota and we can confirm that pretty much everyone in Minnesota wants nothing to with Smith.
Smith, the laughing stock of the NBA Finals for dribbling out the clock instead of calling a timeout in Game 1 of the NBA Finals last season, was playing a NBA video game online with some other guys when they started talking about his team’s (the Cleveland Cavaliers) reported interested in trading for Wolves All-Star Jimmy Butler.
“They trying to do a trade for Jimmy Butler? I ain’t going to Minnesota,” Smith said says in the video. “They can cancel my ticket for that. They can cancel Christmas for that. I ain’t going to no damn Minnesota. They better make it a three-way trade or something.”
