The Gophers men’s basketball team snapped their three game losing streak with a 70-52 victory over Chicago State.
1. Big first half run
Minnesota changed the momentum with a 17-2 run to close the first half. The run began with a couple of big three-pointers from Charles Buggs.

2. Murphy posts double-double
Gophers freshman Jordan Murphy continues to impress. After posting back-to-back doubles earlier in the month, Murphy was back at it again on Tuesday night.
He finished with 12 points and 18 boards for another double-double – seven of those rebounds were offensive.
Jordan Murphy sets a career-high with 18 rebounds. He had 17 rebounds against South Dakota.

3. Buggs puts together impressive night
Buggs put together an impressive night for the Gophers. He finished with 14 points and scored in a variety of ways. Buggs hit a pair of big three’s in the first half, then put up a spectacular looking dunk in the second.
