Don’t panic, Vikings fans. Greg Jennings is just fine.
The $45 million wide receiver was held out of Organized Team Activities on Wednesday with a sore ankle.
“It’s May, and I’m perfectly fine,” Jennings said to calm concerned members of the media Thursday.
Head coach Leslie Frazier called it a “minor” injury and expects Jennings back at OTAs next week.
Meanwhile, rookie Cordarrelle Patterson is learning from Jennings, who tells the Pioneer Press that he’s been preaching “details, details, details” to Patterson.
“It’s making sure it’s not all criticism — being constructive about it, but at the same time letting him know when he’s doing things right and letting him know I’m watching him so I can get better, as well. It’s not just a one-way street.”
Note: Vikings defensive end Jared Allen is also expected to join OTAs next week, according to the Pioneer Press. Allen is gone this week because he’s celebrating his wedding anniversary.
