Jayron Kearse is tweeting like a man who knows he’ll be playing for a different team in 2020.
Kearse, the 25-year-old safety who played a pretty big role with the Vikings this season, is set to become an unrestricted free agent and can listen and take any offer he wants. On Monday, one of his tweets suggests that he’s planning to sign elsewhere.
“Wish they appreciated me enough to make me want to come back,” Kearse wrote, in response to a follower asking him why he can’t develop into a great player and stay with one team for his entire career.

It’s not the first time Kearse has generated talk about his future. In mid-November, Kearse tweeted “No” in response to a Twitter follower asking him if the Vikings “have a place in your future?”
The next day he made numerous big defensive plays to help the Vikings complete an improbable comeback against the Broncos. When asked about his tweet he said he wasn’t thinking straight.
Off the field, Kearse was arrested Oct. 27 on suspicion of DUI and possessing a firearm without a permit.
