If Jay Cutler starts for the Bears against the Vikings on Monday night it won’t be a surprise, but it is sort of amusing that his wife gave the world an update on Cutler’s health via Instagram.
Kristin Cavallari, one of the stars from “The Hills,” wrote that Cutler is returning “maybe a couple weeks before he’s supposed to.” But she does hope her husband kicks “some Vikings ass.”

Cutler hasn’t played since suffering a sprained thumb on his throwing hand in Week 2. And it definitely appears that Cutler agrees with his wife – he’s not quite ready to go but he will anyway because the Bears really don’t have another viable option.
“He (head coach John Fox) doesn’t have a choice, I guess, at this point,” Cutler said at his Tuesday press conference, according to the Chicago Tribune. “Brian (Hoyer) is out, so I’ve got to go.”
Hoyer broke his arm against the Packers last Thursday and the only other quarterbacks on the roster are the seldom-used Matt Barkley and Connor Shaw.
