Vikings defensive end Jared Allen has one word for Commissioner Roger Goodell’s idea to expand the NFL playoffs.
That’s what Allen said today when asked about the notion of adding two, perhaps four more teams into the postseason mix.
In his words: “It’s a dumb idea … and you damage the sport if an 8-8 team” gets in.
