Now that the Wild have been ushered out of the NHL playoffs by the Chicago Blackhawks, what’s next for coach Mike Yeo?
Some have suggested that with the teams’ slide to the 8th playoff spot in a troubled April, combined with an early 5-game exit in the Stanley Cup tournament, that Yeo might be on the hot seat.
After last night’s 5-1 loss to Chicago, Yeo said he “didn’t know” if he had a ton of job security. But he was hopeful for the future.
“There’s been a lot of improvement in our organization and our team” Yeo said. “I feel that we’re going in the right direction.”
