Fans who have gone to a Timberwolves game this season have likely seen a group of guys in suits and ties sitting behind the team’s bench. Those aren’t security guards, they’re players.
Injuries have kept Kevin Love, Chase Budinger and Brandon Roy out for the majority of the season. Nikola Pekovic, Andrei Kirilenko and Ricky Rubio have also spent quite a bit of time out of uniform and in suits and ties this season.
