Case Keenum threw four interceptions in London last season and it appears he’ll get the chance to redeem himself on Sunday when the Vikings play the Browns at Twickenham Stadium.
Keenum, limited in practice Wednesday because of a chest injury, was out in full with the team as they went through a walk-through in London on Thursday, the Star Tribune’s Ben Goessling reports, so it appears that Keenum will start again this week.
The main question is who the Vikings will keep active as the backup: Bridgewater or Sloter?
Bridgewater has been practicing fully since Oct. 18 after more than a year of rehab after suffering a dislocated knee and torn ACL.
Because Sam Bradford (knee) didn’t practice on Wednesday and Keenum was limited, it meant there was a real possibility that Bridgewater was taking reps with the first team.
But the Vikings have to take Bridgewater off the physically unable to perform list before he can play. If the Vikings don’t remove him from the list before Sunday, they’ll have one more week to do so or they’ll be forced to put him on injured reserve or the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, Bradford didn’t practice again on Thursday so his status going forward remains unclear.
