The Minnesota Wild and Vegas Golden Knights brawled throughout the first period on Wednesday night after Nicolas Hague checked Kirill Kaprizov from behind.
Kaprizov was going for the puck along the Vegas bench when Hague checked him into the boards.
After the hit, both teams began to brawl, with Kaprizov going after Hague to get retribution.

Among the players that came to Kaprizov’s defense was Marcus Foligno, who went after Hague in the first period.

With the Wild entering Wednesday’s game four points behind Vegas for the top seed in the West Division, it’s possible these two teams could see each other in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
