
The NFL has released the regular season schedule and the Vikings now know exactly where they’ll be all 17 weeks of the upcoming 2019 campaign.
Week 1: vs. Atlanta Falcons – Sunday, Sept. 8 – 12 p.m.
Week 2: at Green Bay Packers – Sunday, Sept. 15 – 12 p.m.
Week 3: vs. Oakland Raiders – Sunday, Sept. 22 – 12 p.m.
Week 4: at Chicago Bears – Sunday, Sept. 29 – 3:25 p.m.
Week 5: at New York Giants – Sunday, Oct. 6 – 12 p.m.
Week 6: vs. Philadelphia Eagles – Sunday, Oct. 13 – 12 p.m.
Week 7: at Detroit Lions – Sunday, Oct. 20 – 12 p.m.
Week 8: vs. Washington Redskins – Thursday, Oct. 24 – 7:20 p.m.

So much for the speculation from a Sports Illustrated-based podcast in February that said the Vikings and Eagles meeting on Thanksgiving Day was “pretty likely.”
Overall, the Vikings play five times in prime time, once on Thursday Night Football, twice on Sunday Night Football and twice on Monday Night Football.
Five prime time games is the maximum allowed by the NFL.
They also get a boost with four of their last six games at home.
