We’ll be honest, this footage isn’t super exciting. It’s mostly jump shots and some dribbling, with a nice dunk at the end. But it is a chance to see a young KAT (Editor’s note: Is a young KAT a KITten?) honing the skills that made him a unanimous Rookie of the Year.
The workout is apparently from when Karl-Anthony Towns was a 14-year-old freshman, where he went to St. Joseph High School in New Jersey. The same channel actually uploaded a different version of the video seven months ago, this new one was posted to /r/Timberwolves on Reddit, so h/t to Maplepickup for publicizing it.
ESPN had Towns ranked ninth overall in the 2014 class, while 24/7 sports put him at fifth. Karlito Towns wasn’t even ranked.
