Section softball tournaments wrapped up across Minnesota this past week, which means it’s time for the 2023 Minnesota state softball tournament.
This year’s tournament will begin on June 8 at Caswell Park in Mankato with eight teams from four classes looking to take home a state title.
The top seeds in this year’s tournament are Rosemount (Class AAAA), Mankato East (Class AAA), LeSueur-Henderson (Class AA) and Randolph (Class A).
Here’s a look at the rest of this year’s quarterfinal matchups:
Class A
- 1:30 p.m. – No. 1 Randolph (22-1) vs. Upsala (20-2-1)
- 1:30 p.m. – No. 4 Bethlehem Academy (20-2) vs. No. 5 Edgerton/SW Christian (8-3)
- 1:30 p.m. – No. 2 Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (22-1-1) vs. Menagha (11-6)
- 1:30 p.m. – No. 3 Moose Lake/Willow River (20-3) vs. New Ulm Cathedral (18-5)
Class AA
- 9 a.m. – No. 1 Le Sueur-Henderson (20-5) vs. Pequot Lakes (24-3)
- 9 a.m. – No. 4 Pipestone (19-6) vs. No. 5 Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (21-2)
- 11:15 a.m. – No. 2 St. Charles (23-2) vs. Watertown-Mayer (17-9)
- 11:15 a.m. – No. 3 Proctor (20-4) vs. St. Agnes (20-4)
Class AAA
