Tuesday marks the one month anniversary of the last time Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin played in a game. He was injured November 4th in Seattle. Will he play this week when the Vikings host the Bears? According to head coach Leslie Frazier, there’s “no certainty” that he will.
Without Harvin the Vikings’ passing game has suffered. Despite missing three games, Harvin still leads the team with 62 catches. The rest of the wide receivers have combined for a total of 68 receptions. And the issues have never been more evident than they were Sunday in Green Bay, when the first completed pass to a wide receiver came with less than three minutes left in the game.
Meanwhile, defensive end Jared Allen and starting center John Sullivan were banged up against Green Bay. Allen is dealing with back spasms, in addition to the torn labrum in his shoulder that will require surgery at the end of the season. Sullivan suffered bruised ribs in the game.
