After missing the last four games while he adjusts his multiple sclerosis medication, Wild goalie Josh Harding is ready to return to net tonight for Minnesota when they take on the New York Islanders at 7 p.m.
Harding, who leads the league in both save percentage and goals against average, is 18-5-3 this season, and Minnesota lost all four games without him between the pipes.
As for winger Zach Parise, who has been battling a foot injury for the last month and has missed Minnesota’s last two games, he will sit tonight after being placed on injured reserve yesterday.
Parise is eligible to return whenever he is ready, but while out, Matt Cooke will take his spot on the first line.
Minnesota recalled goalie Johan Gustafsson from Iowa to take Parise’s place as Niklas Backstrom has struggled in net with Harding missing.
