The men’s and women’s hockey teams at the University of Minnesota are still No. 1 in both major Division I college hockey polls.
The men (5-0-1) lost in a shootout to Boston College on Friday before turning around to beat the Eagles on Saturday. Boston College was ranked No. 4 at the time. They are No. 8 in this week’s polls.

The men are on a bye this week before playing at Notre Dame Nov. 8/9.
The women’s team swept Minnesota-Duluth to push its NCAA-record win streak to 57 games. The lady Gophers host Minnesota State this weekend. Check out that poll here.
Both the men and women received all the first-place votes in every poll.
