Sophomore wide receiver Andre McDonald was reinstated to the Gophers football team on Tuesday, according to Nate Sandell.
McDonald was suspended last December and eventually left the team for violating a team policy.
“He’s got another opporutnity. Now it’s up to him,” head coach Jerry Kill told Sandell.

As noted by SB Nation, the return of McDonald is a major boost to a receiving corp that doesn’t return a single player that had more than 375 yards last season.
