Nnaji, a four-star recruit, has been a fast riser on 247Sports’ composite rankings, currently sitting at No. 34 in the country in the Class of 2019.
The only Minnesota prep player in the 2019 class ahead of Nnaji is Rochester John Marshall’s Matthew Hurt, who’s ranked sixth overall.
Gophers head coach Richard Pitino has so far received one verbal commitment for the Class of 2019, coming from 6-foot-8 forward Tray Jackson, a four-star player from Michigan.
