Even if the Gophers lose to the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday, the team will be seeded no lower than fourth.
If Richard Pitino’s team defeats the Badgers, the Gophers will clinch the No. 2 seed.
The Badgers beat the U of M back in January but Wisconsin has been reeling lately, as they have lost five of six. Meanwhile the Gophers have been red-hot having won eight-straight games.
Tip off from the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin is set for 5 p.m.
