The Vegas Golden Knights added two players to the NHL’s COVID protocol list ahead of Friday’s Game 7 matchup with the Minnesota Wild.
After placing defenseman Brayden McNabb on the list earlier in the week, forwards Ryan Reaves and Peyton Krebs were added to the list on Thursday.
Reaves has battled injuries throughout this season and did not play in Minnesota’s Game 6 victory on Wednesday night. In 37 games this season, Reaves has just one goal and four assists but has 14 years of experience and is a physical presence that could come in handy in an elimination game.

Krebs has also been out of the lineup for Vegas, not playing in the previous six games of the series. On the season, the 17th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft has played just four games with one assist.
Both forwards join McNabb, who did not play in Wednesday’s game and has a plus-minus of 10 on the season. With Max Pacioretty on the shelf with an undisclosed injury, the Golden Knights’ depth has taken a hit heading into Game 7.
