A first half lead for the Timberwolves quickly disappeared in the second half as Kevin Garnett and the Celtics rallied for a 104-90 win in Boston Wednesday night. Kevin Garnett led the Celtics with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Kevin Love paced Minnesota with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Boston erased a four point halftime deficit by outscoring the Wolves 32-21 in the third quarter. Boston continued its domination in the fourth quarter, outscoring Minnesota 25-22.
Minnesota shot an ugly 6-19 from three-point range, and 14-30 from the free-throw line.
