Timberwolves president of basketball operations is helping out the cause as the Minnesota Lynx take a run at a WNBA title.

According to the team’s web site, Saunders has purchased 500 tickets for the opening finals game against the Atlanta Dream Sunday at Target Center.

Beginning today (Tuesday) at 8 a.m., the first 250 fans that call in to 612-673-8400 will have the opportunity to sit in the Saunders’ seats for free; limit two per customer.

WCCO reports Timberwolves officials said Saunders bought 500 upper level tickets for Sunday night’s game at Target Center.

KARE 11 also reports that single-game tickets for the WNBA Finals presented by Boost Mobile begin at just $26.
