It’s something we’ve seen coming all week, and something Leslie Frazier confirmed after practice today.
Defensive tackle Kevin Williams, after missing just his fifth game in his 11-year NFL career last week, will play Sunday against Chicago.
Leslie Frazier said he's seen enough from Kevin Williams that he's "good to go." #Vikings

Williams was recovering from a hyperextended knee suffered on a low hit by San Francisco lineman Joe Looney in the Vikings third preseason game. He was not at the portion of the practice open to the media, raising some concerns, but those were put to rest when Frazier spoke.
Defensive end Jared Allen spilled the beans on Williams’ return yesterday in a tweet from Sean Jensen of the Pioneer Press.
#Vikings DE Jared Allen makes it sound as if Kevin Williams will play Sunday against the #Bears. A key for D? "We get Kevin back."

Still, official word was what we were waiting for, and Williams will be welcomed back with open arms after the Vikings were dominated by the Lions running and short passing game last week.
