The announcing team for the Minnesota Twins’ American League Division Series with the Houston Astros has been set, and it features a former Twins catcher.
Former Twin A.J. Pierzynski will be an analyst alongside former Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright for the Twins-Astros series. Adam Amin will be the play-by-play announcer for the Fox Sports broadcasts. Pierzynski has been a full-time analyst for Fox since 2017.
The first two games of the ALDS will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 this Saturday and Sunday. Tuesday’s Game 3 will air on Fox. If needed, Games 4 and 5 will feature on either Fox or FS1.

The Twins won the regular season series with the Astros 4-2.
The Twins haven’t announced a Game 1 starter after Pablo Lopez and Sonny Gray started in the Wild Card series against Toronto.
Houston have set Justin Verlander as their starter for Game 1. Minnesota did not face Verlander this season, though Twins batters hit .268/.361/.362 off Houston pitching this season, including four home runs and 28 RBI.
