Greg Jennings finally has a new home. Multiple media outlets report the former Vikings wide receiver has signed a two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins.
According to Pro Football Talk, a league source says the deal will be worth $8 million over the two years.
Jennings had drawn a fair amount of interest since hitting the market, but hadn’t found a home. Carolina, New Orleans and Jacksonville had all expressed interest in the nine-year veteran.
Ironically, he goes to the Dolphins to replace Mike Wallace, who essentially replaced him in Minnesota. The Dolphins traded Wallace and a 7th round draft pick to the Vikings for a fifth rounder shortly after free agency opened.
The Vikings released Jennings the next day.

Jennings led the Vikings with 59 catches for 742 yards and six touchdowns. The Associated Press notes that he had three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with Green Bay.
He agreed to a five-year, $45 million contract with the Vikings in 2013. ESPN notes that Jennings wanted a fresh start after playing his first seven seasons for the Packers. But he played with four different starting quarterbacks in his two seasons with the Vikings, catching 127 passes for 1,546 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The move to South Beach will mark the third team that Jennings has played for in his career.
He joins a young receiving corps that includes Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills. Miami is also reportedly looking at taking a receiver early in the draft, according to PFT.
Jennings could be a mentor for those young receivers in Miami.
