Former Minnesota Viking linebacker Erin Henderson is now facing charges of drunk driving and marijuana possession.
WCCO reports Henderson is facing two counts of fourth-degree DWI, careless driving and possession of over 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle, in connection with the incident.

Eden Prairie Police responded to a call about an intoxicated man around 3:19 a.m. on Nov. 19, 2013, along the 15000 block of Porchlight Lane, according to WCCO.
Upon their arrival, WCCO reports officers were notified that Henderson had left the area in a white Jaguar, which police later spotted parked with its lights off at Fredrick Miller-Spring with Henderson sitting in the driver’s seat.
Henderson told police he had driven there from his home on Porchlight Lane, but denied using alcohol, according to WCCO. A preliminary breath test showed Henderson had a blood alcohol level of .106, above Minnesota’s legal limit of .08 and he was placed under arrest.
WCCO reports the complaint also alleges that while searching Henderson police found two pieces of “taffy” that tested positive for the drug THC, and while searching Henderson’s vehicle police also found a baggie containing 10.8 grams of marijuana.
It was the first of two arrests for Henderson, he was also arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on New Year’s Day.
After the first arrest, Henderson said he would sue the state to prevent the revocation of his driver’s license.
Henderson played linebacker for the Vikings, but was released from the team in early February.
